Importing Line Symbols

You are allowed to import line symbols in other symbol library files into the currently open line symbol library. Below are the steps:

1. In the Line Symbol Library Selector, select a group in the symbol group tree.
2. Click the File menu, point to Import, and click Import Line Symbol.
3. In the Import Line Symbol dialog box that shows up, navigate to the line symbol library file where the line symbols you want to import are contained, highlight it, and then click Open.
4. The Select dialog box then shows up for you to select line symbols in the selected line symbol library file. You can select multiple line symbols using Ctrl + click.

Since the Select dialog box is very similar to the Symbol Library Selector, you actually can perform operations supported in the Symbol Library Selector, such as opening some other line symbol library files, etc.

5. Click OK to confirm the selection and add the selected symbols to the symbol pane.
