Basic operations

The geoprocessing modeler can be saved into a workspace, and basic operations like Open, Save, Delete, Rename, etc. are provided.

Open

In the Workspace Manager , under the Model node, double click the model you want to open, or you can right click on the model you want to open and select Open Model.

Save

The geoprocessing modeler can be saved into a workspace, and basic operations like Open, Save, Delete, Rename, etc. are provided.

Basic steps: In the geoprocessing modeler window, right-click and select Save Model. In the pop-up dialog box enter a name and click OK to save your model.

Save as

If you make some changes to your geoprocessing modeler, you can save it as a new geoprocessing modeler.

Basic steps: Right click on the geoprocessing modeler window. Select Save Model As and enter a name into the pop-up dialog box.

Save a model as a template

Your model can be saved as a template for further use. You can find it under the node Custom Tool in the Toolbox.

Basic steps: right-click on the modeler window and select Save to Model Template Library… In the Settings box type a model name.

Delete

In the workspace manager, select one or more modelers and right-click. In the context menu select Delete Model or you can press Delete key directly. A prompt window will appear to ask you whether to delete your model. OK means deleting it (or them), otherwise, cancel this operation without deleting any model.

Rename

Modify the name of your geoprocessing modeler.

Basic steps: Select your modeler, click F2 or right-click and select “Rename”. And then the name of your model is editable, and enter a new name and press Enter to finish the operation.
