The theme articles describe how to use SuperMap iDesktop to create and browse vector tiles by an instance.
First: prepare data
To generate vector tiles, an effective vector map is required. Vector tiles can be generated from a SuperMap map consisting of point, line, region, text layers. Most of styles of features in SuperMap maps are supported by MapBox well. But there are some limitations and announcements because of the differences between MapBox and SuperMap in style display. For more details, please refer to Optimal practices of drawing maps.
We take data “China.udb, China.udd” as an example.
