    Set Layout Page

    The Page Settings group on the Layouts Tab organizes a lot of features for page orientation, size, and margins settings.

    Orientation

    Change the orientation of the layout page in the current layout window. Two options are provided: Landscape and Portrait (by default).

    Basic Steps

    1. On the Layouts tab, in the Page Settings group, click Orientation to display the drop-down list.
    2. You can also click the dialog box button in the Page Settings group to display the Page Settings dialog box, where you can set the page orientation.
    3. The changes are instantly shown in the Preview area. Click OK to apply the settings.

    Page Size

    Change the paper size of the layout page in the current layout window. Several predefined paper size options are provided in the Paper Size drop-down list. Also, you can customize the paper size on the Paper tab in the Page Setting.

    Basic Steps

    1. On the Layout tab, in the Page Settings group, click Paper Size to display the paper size options.
    2. If the predefined paper sizes cannot satisfy your requirements, you can click More Paper Sizes… at the bottom of the drop-down list to display the Page Settings dialog box for the customization of the page size.
    3. Select a paper size type in the Paper Size area. You can also click Custom Size in the Type list. The Width and Height integerUpDowns show the width and height of the selected paper size type. The size unit is centimeter.
    4. The changes are instantly shown in the Preview area. Click OK to apply the settings.

    Page Counts

    The Layout Settings in Layouts tab can set the browsing pages of layout window in the landscape or portrait orientation. The overall pages displayed is Columns * Rows

    • Landscape: Sets the horizontal pages which is on the right of landscape label in layout tab. You can enter the page number in the textbox or use fine tune button to set it.
    • Portrait: Sets the vertical pages which is on the right of landscape label in layout tab. You can enter the page number in the textbox or use fine tune button to set it.

    Note: Setting the page can modify the pages of the layout page in layout window. By setting this, you can expand or narrow the size of the overall layout page, while the size and orientation of each page would not change.

    Page Margins

    Set or change the page margins in the current layout window. Several predefined page margins options are provided in the Margins drop-down list. You can customize the page margins on the Margins tab in the Page Settings dialog box. Besides, you can customize the page margins on the Margins tab in the Page Settings dialog box.

    Basic Steps

    1. Click Layout > Page Settings > Margins to display the predefined page margins options.
    2. If the predefined page margins cannot satisfy your requirements, you can click Custom Margins at the bottom of the drop-down list to display the Page Settings dialog box for the customization of page margins.
    3. Select a page type. The Left, Right, Top, and right text boxes display the margin values for the type you selected. The unit for the values is centimeters.
    4. You can change the values to customize the page margins.
    5. The changes are instantly shown in the Review area. Click OK to apply the settings.
