GIS Environment Groups Divided

SuperMap iManager provide the GIS group function, which is convenient for users to divide the existing GIS environment according to business or other requirement, and unified management. The created GIS group can be viewed by clicking on Topology in the overview interface.

Create GIS Group

When you first create, you will see the prompt “you don’t have a GIS group, please create one!” Click the create button. Even if you already have a GIS group, you can also click create GIS group button to create.

Manage GIS Group

Click the name of the GIS group to enter into the specific environment group management interface, which can start, stop, restart, manage member, modify the name, and delete the group. The member management function can easily manage the members in environment group. For the added GIS environment, it does not support start, stop and restart operation.

The administrator can manage the GIS group of all people; The department administrator can see the GIS environment group of all users in his department; Ordinary users can manage their own GIS group.

Member management

Clicks on the member management button in the environment group to see the management interface. Users can control the members of the environment group by checking the check box. Then Click OK to finish.

The administrator can see the GIS environment of all people; The department administrator can see the GIS environment of all users in his department; Ordinary users can manage their own GIS environment.

A GIS environment can be added to a GIS environment group. For example, once a regular user GIS environment is added to the GIS group created by the administrator, then ordinary users can not see the GIS environment in their member management interface.
