Video Analysis
The video analysis module leverages AI technology to perceive video content, integrates video with GIS systems, extracts geographic information from video maps, pinpoints event coordinates in videos, and performs spatial analysis. It plays vital roles in traffic monitoring, security surveillance, and public safety applications.
This module provides functionalities including object detection, license plate recognition, geo-fencing analysis, and trace extraction. Before using video analysis features, please download the SuperMap iDesktopX AI extension package and configure required environments. Activation of video analysis functions will be available after environment setup.
This chapter covers the following contents:
- Video Analysis Environment Configuration: Explains how to configure required environments for video analysis.
- Object Detection: Demonstrates automatic identification of target types and their positional information during video playback.
- Target Statistics: Describes statistical methods for total target counts from video start to current playback position, including frame-specific counts.
- Target Tracking: Explains how to record target information and track movement trajectories in videos.
- License Plate Recognition: Guides on recognizing vehicle license plates in video streams.
- Geo-fencing Analysis: Details monitoring methods for targets within specified geographic boundaries in videos.
- Velocity Analysis: Demonstrates real-time monitoring of target movement speeds.
- Brawl Detection: Explains crowd fighting recognition in video content.
- License Plate Recognition: Guides on recognizing vehicle license plates in video streams.
- License Plate Blurring: Describes license plate anonymization techniques in videos.
- Face Blurring: Explains facial recognition privacy protection through blurring.
- Detection Result Management: Covers management and storage of video analysis results.
- Video Analysis Settings: Documentation of common parameters for video analysis configurations.
- Spatial Analysis: Demonstrates spatial analysis operations on vector data overlaid on video maps.
- Video Multiprocess Analysis: Introduces background multiprocessing functionality for concurrent analysis tasks to improve efficiency.
