Video Analysis Settings

The settings group in the Video Analysis tab is used to configure the display effects of video analysis on video maps, such as showing legends to display target types in object detection, thereby enhancing the visualization of video maps.

Show Legend

The Show Legend feature enables the display of detected target types and their annotation boxes in the upper-left corner of video map windows. This helps users quickly identify target types through color-coded boxes during video analysis. Legend content is determined by configurations in the Detection Settings panel. To modify legend content, open the Detection Settings dialog.

Click the Show Legend button (Video Analysis tab -> Settings group) to display target type names and colors in the upper-left corner of video maps, as shown below:

Auto Compression

Auto Compression enhances detection efficiency by reducing video resolution. Note this feature is only available when detection functions are active. For example, it automatically activates when object detection starts.

Compression Rate (%)

The compression rate can be configured before enabling Auto Compression, with a default value of 50. Once Auto Compression is active, this parameter becomes read-only. Disable Auto Compression to modify this setting.

Probability Threshold (%)

For each detected object, SuperMap iDesktopX calculates its probability score matching target characteristics. Only objects exceeding this threshold are retained in detection results. Default value: 50.

Deduplicate Threshold (%)

SuperMap iDesktopX generates multiple candidate boxes for detected objects in an image, each with a probability score. After applying the NMS algorithm to select optimal boxes, candidate boxes overlapping with optimal boxes beyond this IoU (Intersection over Union) threshold are removed. Typical range: 30%-70%. Default value: 50.

Release Detection Process

This feature releases idle AI processes to improve application performance. When closing multiple video maps while retaining one active detection window, background AI processes from closed maps can be terminated using this function.
