The GIS environment provided by iManager

iManager can make the deployment and operation of GIS environment simpler and more efficient.

For example, if we build a traditional GIS cluster, we need to distribute machine, install the operating system, copy iServer package, install/configure the license, login each node to configure the cluster, and deploy/update industry data, etc. The whole process is complex, especially deploying the GIS cluster on Linux, many problems occur because of lacking familiarity with Linux.

In iManager, you can simply click the “Add GIS Cluster” button and enter the number of nodes to build a GIS cluster.

The GIS environment can be easily created: GIS functional service environment, GIS tiling business environment, GIS mapping business environment, and GIS portal environment.

GIS Portal

GIS portal environment is supported by software (SuperMap iPortal). After GIS portal is created successfully, users can get the GIS portal environment to realize integration and unified management of various GIS resources such as maps, services, applications and data. Please refer to SuperMap iPortal Help for more information.

GIS Functional Service Environment

GIS functional service environment is supported by the GIS application server (SuperMap iServer). After GIS functional server is created successfully, users can obtain the GIS functional service environment, which can be used to manage, publish and seamlessly aggregate multi-source services. Please refer to SuperMap iServer Help for more information.

GIS Tiling Business Environment

The tiling business environment is supported by the GIS application server (SuperMap iServer). After the GIS cluster is created successfully, users can get the tiling business environment. User can create a new tiling task to efficiently produce map tiles, vector tiles, and attribute tiles. GIS cluster scale support elastic expansion with service concurrency and CPU utilization.

GIS Site

The GIS sites environment is supported by the GIS application server (SuperMap iServer) and GIS portal software (SuperMap iPortal). After the GIS sites are created successfully, users can get the GIS portal and GIS application server environment. GIS application server has been agented by the GIS portal, and GIS portal can publish service directly. The security storage of both services are using the same MySQL database.

And provide a MongDB to select. Please refer to GIS portal and GIS application server help.

GIS BigData Site

GIS big data site is supported by the GIS application server (SuperMap iServer), DataStore, Spark environment, and Hadoop HDFS environment. After the GIS big data site is created successfully, you can directly access GIS application server for big data analysis. For details, please refer to GIS application server help document.
