Video Properties Panel

The Video Layer Properties panel is used to manage video Attributes. Right click the video layer in the Layer Manager and select the Attributes item to display the Video Layer Properties panel on the right side of the Application. Information about the video is displayed in the panel.

Video List

Displays multiple video items in the Video Dataset. You can click a video item in the list to switch the video in the Video Map window and view the Other Parameters information in the Video Layer Properties panel.

Video Parameters

In Video Parameters, You can add, Set camera parameters, delete, import/Export Video Parameter File, The Import Camera Parameters File button manages the Video ParametersFile Info.

  • Add: It is used to add Video Parameters of different time or angle. Click the Add button to add a record for Video Current Time;
  • Set camera parameters: When Camera Intrinsic Parameters and Extrinsic Parameters are known, Video Registration can be done directly by entering Camera Parameters. Select a record in the list, click the Set button, and manually input the Camera Intrinsic Parameters and Extrinsic Parameters of the video at that moment.
    • Camera Intrinsic Parameters:
      • FovX: Camera horizontal viewfield (angle).
      • FovY: Camera vertical viewing area (angle).
      • Cx: The number of horizontal pixels representing the difference between the center pixel coordinates of the image and the pixel coordinates of the image origin. The theoretical value is equal to half of the width of the video image.
      • Cy: the number of vertical pixels representing the difference between the center pixel coordinates of the image and the original pixel coordinates of the image. The theoretical value is equal to half of the height of the video image.
    • Extrinsic Parameter
      • Roll: The included angle between the plane of symmetry of the aircraft and the vertical plane of the longitudinal axis of the airframe. The included angle on the right side is positive.
      • Pitch: The angle between the camera body axis (along the nose) and the horizontal plane. The pitch angle of the camera for horizontal plane shooting is 0, the pitch angle of the camera for overhead shooting is negative, and the pitch angle of the camera for orthographic shooting is -90 degrees.
      • Yaw: The angle between the direction of the camera and the direction of due north, due north is 0 °, due south is -180 °, and the angle becomes larger clockwise.
      • X/Y/Z: The longitude/latitude coordinates of the camera and the absolute or relative altitude of the camera.
  • Import Camera Parameters: Import Camera Parameters, the system will automatically generate parameter records at different times according to File Info; For details of Camera Parameters, please refer to the Camera Parameter Registration .
  • Import/Export: Click the Import/Export button to import/export all the parameter records in the Video Parameters list.
  • Delete: used to delete the Video Parameters record.

Video Valid Bounds

Support to set the effective Visible Bounds of video: to improve the accuracy of Video Registration. When the video shows a skyline or a distant scene, it is necessary to manually adjust the Video Valid Bounds to avoid excessive distortion of the video.

  • Min X/Y: Used to set the left and lower boundaries of the video. The default value is 0.
  • Max X/Y: Used to set the right and top borders of the video. The default value is the size of the video.

PTZ position

When performing multi-angle Video Registration, you need to set the PTZ position of each angle.

  • Pan: indicates the horizontal movement of the camera, that is, the Rotation angle of the camera;
  • Tilt: indicates the movement in the vertical direction, that is, the pitch angle of the camera lens;
  • Zoom: means to zoom, that is, to adjust the focal length of the camera.
