Video Map Drawing

Feature Description

Supports drawing 2D/3D points, lines, polygons and text based on video, with main applications:

  • Scenario 1: Annotate videos by drawing markers, arrows and other objects to enhance video information display and improve user comprehension.
  • Scenario 2: Create geofences and perform geo-fencing analysis with video data. Example: Draw bus lane geofences on video, then conduct spatial queries with actual vehicle positions to detect illegal intrusions into bus lanes and non-motor vehicle details in real-time.
  • Scenario 3: Perform data capture from video to extract feature information. Compared with remote sensing imagery, video offers easier acquisition and higher resolution, making it cost-effective for vectorization and data collection.

Feature Entry

  • Video Maps Tab->CAD Objects.

Steps

  1. Open video dataset in Video Maps, add vector dataset to video map, and set target layer to Editable status.
  2. Select object type in Video Maps->CAD Objects. Move cursor to video map to start drawing. Drawing methods are consistent with map and layout operations. Refer to Drawing Geometry in layout documentation.
  3. Drawn objects are saved to dataset immediately. Display styles can be configured in Video Maps, or datasets can be added to map for display as shown below:
