This document applies to Linux OS (x64), Linux OS (aarch64), and Linux OS (loongarch64).

Deploy SuperMap License Center

The SuperMap License Center comes in Web and Non-Web versions. The Web version is used for applying and configuring private cloud licenses, while the Non-Web version handles file license applications. Therefore, you must install the License Center before applying for private cloud licenses or file licenses.

Web License Center

Download and extract the License Center (Web Version) from SuperMap Tech Hub. Ensure to download the appropriate version for your system architecture (e.g., choose the "arm" tar.gz package for ARM systems).

Non-Web License Center

Manage the Non-Web License Center using the licensetool.sh file in the product package root directory.

Trial License

  • File License:
    • Obtain Product Installation Package: You will automatically receive 90-day trial permissions upon first successful installation. For green editions, additional license information acquisition is required.
    • Online Application:
      1. Execute the following command in the product root directory: ./licensetool.sh -report /path/*.report.
      2. Select Non-Web License on SuperMap Online and upload the generated *.report file.
      3. After successful application, download the *.licx file from the trial license management page or via email attachment.
  • Public Cloud License: Register and log in to SuperMap Online to obtain permanent trial permissions without additional configuration.
  • Private Cloud License:
    1. Execute ./startup.sh in the /bin folder of Web License Center directory.
    2. Access http://localhost:9183 via browser to register and log in.
    3. Click Download Report under Activation Update to obtain *.reportc file.
    4. Select Web License (options with (Web) suffix) on SuperMap Online and upload the *.reportc file.
    5. After successful application, download the *.licc file from the trial license management page or via email attachment.

Official License

  • File License:

    Contact sales representatives or purchase through SuperMap Online. Generate *.report file using Non-Web License Center (refer to trial license acquisition method) and submit it to Beijing SuperMap Software Co., Ltd. for *.licx file generation.

  • Public Cloud License:

    Purchase directly through SuperMap Online or contact sales representatives.

  • Private Cloud License:

    Contact sales representatives or purchase through SuperMap Online. Generate *.reportc file via Web License Center (refer to trial license acquisition method) and submit to Beijing SuperMap Software Co., Ltd. for *.licc file generation.

  • Hardware License:

    Contact sales representatives or purchase through SuperMap Online, then coordinate with sales for physical delivery.
