Text Templete management can manage the templates of System Template and User Custom in a unified way.

Function entrance

Style Settings tab-> Text Templete group drop-down menu-> More Templates.

Parameter Description

• File: Used for Open Template Library, System Template Library files.
• Display Method: It is used to control the icon display style of the template browsing area in the window, which is mainly divided into three forms: large icon, small icon, list and detail. Click the corresponding button to switch the icon display style of the Text Style Templates browsing area.
• Template library group management area: Click the Root group folder, and you can see all the Template Files under the System Template and user template folders. Here, you can create, rename, delete, and copy the saved Template File and folder, or export the templates in the folder to the specified location through the export command. For details, see: Template library grouping management area .
• Template library browsing area: In this area, users can browse the style of each template, modify it, or create a new Text Style Templates. For details, see: Template library browsing area .

  It should be noted that the fonts used in the "Ocean" and "River, Lake, Reservoir" templates are both left italics, but the Italic Font Effects supported in SuperMap can only be set to right italics. If you want to realize the Font Effects of left italics, you can use the third-party font library East body. After downloading and installing this font, select East body in Font to realize the effects of left italics. Italic in Font Effects cannot be checked when the left italic effect is implemented.

• Text Style Settings area and preview area: The Text Style Settings area can set the basic style of the font, including font, font size, font height, Text Color, Rotation angle, and Background. You can also set the effect of the font, such as bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, shadow, outline, Fixed Size, Background Transparency, and so on. Check the appropriate option to enable the effect. The modifications made by the user to the template will be displayed in the preview area in real time, and the effect can be previewed immediately.

Caution:

This button is available
• only when there is a selected Text in the text layer and it is editable.
• If multiple types of objects (Text, Geometry, and so on) are selected in the Map at the same time, the template button in the Text Style group is available only if the text layer is on top of another selected Object layer in the Layer Manager.
