Result Display
Usage
After the simulation analysis is executed, the calculation results will be automatically generated as S3M tiles and loaded into the scene. You can achieve dynamic visualization of the simulation results by configuring rendering parameters and using control buttons such as play and pause.
Rendering Settings
Function Entry
- Flood Simulation Tab -> Result Display Group -> Rendering Settings Button
Operating Steps
- Click the Flood Simulation Tab -> Result Display Group -> Rendering Settings button.
- In the popped-up "Rendering Settings" dialog box, you can configure the target layer, color features, deformation features, and flow direction features.
- Layer Settings: Select the S3M tile layer to apply the rendering parameters from the drop-down list.
- Color Feature Settings: Used to configure the color-ramp effect for simulation results.
- Color Feature Value: Select the attribute field to be displayed with the color-ramp effect from the drop-down list.
- Color Ramp: Set the color mapping scheme from the drop-down list. For more operations on color schemes, see Color Ramp Editor.
- Transparency: Set the transparency level of the color-ramp effect; a higher value indicates greater transparency.
- Minimum Visible Value: Set the minimum value for data display. Data below this value will be filtered and not displayed.
- Deformation Feature Settings: Used to configure the display effect of height displacement in simulation results.
- Deformation Feature Value: Select the attribute field representing height change from the drop-down list.
- Deformation Coefficient: Set the exaggeration factor for height changes. The default value is 1.
- Flow Direction Feature Settings: Used to configure water surface and flow dynamic effects.
- Enable Water Surface Effect: When enabled, realistic water surface effects including reflections, waves, and whitewater will be activated.
- Flow: When enabled, water flow direction is represented by arrows, displaying the actual calculated flow direction at each point.
- Arrow Color: When "Flow" is enabled, the color mapping scheme for arrows can be selected.
- Water Surface Color: When the water surface effect is enabled, the color mapping scheme for the water surface can be selected.
- After completing the settings, click the OK button to apply them. Combined with playback control buttons, you can dynamically view the simulation analysis results.
Playback Control
Function Entry
- Flood Simulation Tab -> Result Display Group -> Total Duration/First Moment/Previous Moment/Play/Pause/Next Moment/Last Moment Buttons
Operating Steps
- After configuration is complete, you can set the total playback duration for the simulation results, in seconds. The default value is 20. During playback, the system will automatically allocate the frames per second based on the number of time moments in the result data.
- After setup, you can control the playback of simulation results using the following buttons:
- Play: Start playing the simulation analysis results.
- Pause: Pause the playback.
- First Moment: Return to the first moment of the results.
- Previous Moment: Step back to the state of the previous moment relative to the current one.
- Next Moment: Advance to the state of the next moment relative to the current one.
- Last Moment: Directly jump to the state of the last moment of the results.
