Basic Parameters
The basic parameters for controlling the display of S3M tiles are organized within the 3D Tile group in the basic module of the Layer Properties panel. The specific parameter descriptions are as follows:
- S3M Version: Displays the version number of the S3M tile data in the current 3D tile layer, including S3M 1.0, S3M 2.0, S3M 3.0, and S3M 3.01.
- LOD Scale Factor (Times): Sets the scaling factor for the switching distance between different LOD levels of model tiles.
- Loading Mode: Used to set the loading mode for the current layer, including Load All Pyramid Levels and Load Current Pyramid Level.
- Loading Priority: Used to set the data loading priority for the current layer, including Depth First, Layer First, and Depth Non-Linear Switching.
- Depth First: Prioritizes loading all tiles of all pyramids within the current view range.
- Layer First: Prioritizes loading all tiles of the current pyramid level.
- Depth Non-Linear Switching: Prioritizes loading all tiles of all pyramids within the current view range, loading only coarser data at locations farther from the camera.
- Display Mode: Sets the display mode for 3D tiles generated from oblique photography 3D models, white models, BIM, or fine models.
- Blend Mode: Displays by multiplying and blending vertex colors with textures.
- Grayscale Mode: Only displays grayscale textures, ignoring vertex colors.
- Solid Color Mode: Ignores vertex colors and texture colors, displaying only the fill color, which is white by default.
- Non-Blend Mode: Displays textures if the data has them; otherwise, displays vertex colors.
- Color Mode: Only displays vertex colors, ignoring textures.
- Maximum/Minimum Visible Distance: Sets display thresholds based on the distance between the camera and the data's spatial location. Data beyond the set thresholds will not be displayed.
- Rotation Angle (X, Y, Z) (Degree): Sets the counterclockwise rotation angle along the X/Y/Z axis, respectively.
- Transparency Filter Selection: Used to set the transparency filter threshold to control object display. This parameter is for model tiles, and objects with a value below the filter are ignored during selection.
- Rendering Mode: Used to set the object rendering mode, including Double-Sided, Clockwise, and Counterclockwise.
- Double-Sided: Renders both the front and back faces of the object from the current viewpoint.
- Clockwise: Renders faces whose vertex order is clockwise from the current viewpoint.
- Counterclockwise: Renders faces whose vertex order is counterclockwise from the current viewpoint.
- Wireframe Mode: Only applicable to tiles generated from model, BIM, and other data. Used to set the wireframe type for tile display, including Triangles, Quadrilaterals, and Sketch Mode. For more details, see Model Display Mode.
- Brightness/Contrast/Hue/Saturation/Gamma: Used to set the brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, and gamma value for layer display. Adjust by typing the value directly or using the arrows to the right of the parameters.
Hypsometric Setting
The "Hypsometric Setting" module in the Layer Properties panel integrates parameters for hypsometric setting display, water surface effect settings, and dynamic simulation adjustment for S3M tiles. The specific descriptions are as follows:
- Hypsometric Setting: Expresses and distinguishes different characteristics of data through the order of color changes or the depth of hues.
- Water Surface Effect: When checked, water surface effects can be set for S3M tiles generated from surface data or multi-temporal flow field data, etc. Relevant parameters include:
- Water Surface Color: Set the water surface color and transparency via the color panel.
- Water Flow Direction: Sets the overall flow direction angle of the water surface (unit: degrees), with a default value of 180°. The angle starts at 0° for true north and increases clockwise.
- Flow Direction Field: Select the attribute field in the S3M tile data that records the flow direction of water surface points, such as mesh0_uv.
- Flow Direction Display Mode: After selecting the flow direction field, the flow direction display mode can be set.
- Do Not Display: Displays the water flow direction in the default manner.
- Arrow: Represents the water flow direction in the form of arrows, showing the actual calculated flow direction at each point.
- Arrow Color: When the flow direction display mode is set to Arrow, the color mapping scheme for the arrows can be selected.
- Arrow Size: When the flow direction display mode is set to Arrow, the size of the arrows can be set, in meters, with a default value of 20.
- Dynamic Simulation: Configures the 3D tile effect to dynamically display changes in properties such as deformation or water depth over time. Relevant parameters include:
- Displacement Field: Select the attribute field representing data displacement change from the drop-down list.
- Exaggeration Coefficient: Sets the exaggeration coefficient for displacement changes, with a default value of 1. The larger the value, the more obvious the change.
- Total Timesteps: Displays the total number of timesteps for property changes in multi-temporal S3M tiles.
- Current Position: Displays the current timestep position of the multi-temporal S3M tile.
- Total Time: Sets the total playback time for property changes of multi-temporal S3M tiles, in seconds.
- Loop Playback: When checked, the property change effect will play in a loop.
- Playback Control: Controls the playback and pause of property timestep changes using the "Start" and "Stop" buttons.
Point Cloud Grouping and Classification
The Point Cloud Grouping and Classification module in the Layer Properties panel organizes parameters for displaying and managing grouping and classification information of point cloud tile data. The specific parameter descriptions are as follows:
- Point Cloud Grouping Information: Displays the grouping information within the point cloud tile. Use the display checkbox in front of the point cloud group name to control the display or hiding of data from the corresponding group. All point cloud data groups are displayed by default.
-
Point Cloud Classification Information: Displays the classification information in the point cloud tile, such as 2, 5, 7, etc.
