TIN Operation

The TIN Operation module in the 3D Geographic Design tab includes functions such as cropping, holing, tessellation, Boolean operation, Surface operation, and Extrude Closed Body.

TIN Operation related functions

裁剪

In order to coordinate with the use of the DEMGenerate Terrain Tiles (TIN), various forms of clipping operations are performed on the Terrain Tiles (TIN) data.

挖洞

A hole is hollowed out on the TIN Terrain, and the Model is superimposed and displayed to form the effect of the Model and Match Terrain.

镶嵌

Through the TIN Terrain-Mosaic function, the boundary surface of the model and TIN Terrain can be used for mosaic, so that the terrain and the model can fit well.

Boolean Operation

Perform difference operation or merge operation on TIN Terrain and Model Data to obtain new TIN Terrain data.

Surface Operation

Perform surface difference operation or merging operation on TIN Terrain and Model Data to obtain new TIN Terrain data.

Extrude Closed Body

TIN Terrain is stretched up to the specified elevation to form a closed body. The method can be used for solid model construction of 3D printing.
