Feature Description

"Map Series" can be used to easily and quickly create a series of layout pages with a unified style based on a single map document, and support unified printing or export as a set of PDF pages in the form of a map book.

Users can simultaneously output a series of complete map sets with unified layouts, standardized decorations, and varying display contents within the same region. Map Series offers advantages such as rapid mapping, high quality, and consistent styling.

The following example demonstrates a topographic map of an area. Users can easily create this 63-page series through.

Steps

  1. The current layout has Map Series enabled.
  2. Click the Object Operation tab-> Map Series-> Print Atlas button to open the Print Atlas dialog box.
    • Target Path: Click the browse button on the right to select the export file save location in the pop-up dialog. By default, the Target Path matches the previously configured path.
    • DPI: Specifies output image resolution (dots per inch). Higher values typically produce sharper images, but significantly increase PDF export file size and processing time. Default DPI is 96.
  3. After successful export, a set of PDF files will be generated under Target Path, with each layout page saved as a separate PDF file.
