Description
The Open command allows you to open a workspace, datasource or path and provides the recent workspace list to make user can quickly open the recently used files.
- With the Open Workspace command, you can open a file, Oracle, or SQL Server workspace.
- With the Open Datasource command, you can open a file, database and web datasource.
- Open the path is to open the folder where the most recently used file is located.
Basic Steps
- Workspace
You can click File…, Oracle…, or SQL Server… to open a workspace of the specified type. For more detailed information on how to open a workspace, please refer to Workspace.
You can click on a record in the Recent Workspace list to open the corresponding workspace.
- Datasource
You can click File…, database or Web…to open a datasource of the specified type. For more detailed information on how to open a datasource, please refer to Datasource.
You can also click on a record in the Recent Datasources list to open the corresponding data source.
- Path
Click Path, you can view the folder path where the file is most recently used, click a record to open the folder and navigate to that path.
- Recently opened files or folders
The SuperMap.Desktop.RecentFile.xml under installation directory records recently opened workspaces and datasources for you to view their names and pathes. The location of SuperMap.Desktop.RecentFile.xml is: Installation directory\Configuration\SuperMap.Desktop.RecentFile.xml.
