When setting Layer Properties, you can select one or more layers of the same or different types in Layer Manager. This module mainly introduces the setting of general layer properties, vector Layer Properties, raster Layer Properties, image Layer Properties and OSGB/OSGB Cache Layer Properties.

In this chapter, you will learn the following:

• Set the general properties of the layer: It introduces how to set the transparency of the layer, the order of the layer, the visible scale of the layer and the operation of filtering and displaying the Map.
• Set Vector Layer Properties : describes how to perform operations such as Vector Layer anti-aliasing, linetype optimization, and Scale Symbol.
• Set Raster Layer Properties : describes how to set Raster Layer properties such as brightness, contrast, color table, and special values.
• Set Image Layer Properties : describes how to set parameters such as Image Layer brightness, contrast, color mode, and stretch.
