Import/Export Fill symbol

Import Symbol File

Import Symbol File can import Fill symbols from other Fill Symbol Library files into the current Fill Symbol Library. You can also import a picture into the Fill Symbol Library as a Fill symbol of an image type.

Function entrance

  • Fill Symbol Selector-> Import-> Import Symbol File.

Operating instructions

  1. Select a grouping in the symbol grouping list in the Fill Symbol Library selector;
  2. Click File Drop-down Button-> Import-> Import Symbol File on the menu bar;
  3. In the popup Import Fill Symbol Library dialog box, find and locate the Fill Symbol Library file where the fill symbol to be imported is located, and then click Open;
  4. Select the symbol to be imported in the pop-up Select Symbol dialog box. You can use the ctrl key to select multiple symbols at the same time;
  5. Click OK to import the selected Fill symbol into the selected group in the current symbol list.

Import Picture

Function entrance

  • Fill Symbol Selector-> Import-> Import Picture.

Operating instructions

  1. Select a grouping in the symbol grouping list in the Fill Symbol Library selector;
  2. Click File Drop-down Button-> Import-> Import Picture on the menu bar;
  3. Find and locate the Picture File to be imported in the pop-up Import Picture dialog box. The picture types that can be imported include: *.png, *.jpg, *.jpeg, *.bmp;
  4. Click the Open button in the dialog box to open the picture as Fill symbol.

Export Fill symbol as a picture

To export Fill symbol is to Fill Symbol Library a Fill symbolExport to Image. Supports *.png or *.svg formats.

Function entrance

  • Fill Symbol Selector-> Context Menu of the selected symbol-> Export to Image or Export as SVG .

Operating instructions

  1. In the Fill Symbol Library selector, select the fill symbol to Export to Image in the fill symbol list;
  2. In the symbol library selector, select Export to Image or Export to SVG from the Context Menu of the selected symbol;
  3. Locate the path where the exported Picture File is stored, and enter the Picture File name to Export Image;
Caution:
  • The Export to Image button is available only when the symbol
    • is selected; Only
  • when Fill symbol is Vector Symbol, can it be exported in *.svg format;
    • The size of the Output Image
  • can be set by specifying the size of the exported image through the Symbol Style Settings area, and the unit is pixel;
    • Check Background Transparency
  • in the Symbol Style Settings area to make the exported image Background Transparency;
