Forward Service

Feature Description

Based on the ArcGIS REST service address, the ArcGIS REST service is forwarded directly to the SuperMap iServer service. Currently, it supports forwarding three types of ArcGIS REST services, including feature services, map services, and network analysis services, forwarding them to SuperMap-supported service types.

Feature Entry

  • Data Migration tab -> ArcGIS Data Migration -> ArcGIS Service>SuperMap Service.

Parameter Description

  • iServer URL: Enter the iServer address for publishing the service. Click the dropdown button of the combo box, select "New Connection", and the "Login to SuperMap iServer" dialog will pop up. Enter the service address, username, and password to log in. Once logged in successfully, the program will automatically save the connected addresses, and users can choose historical records for quick login in subsequent logins.
  • ArcGIS Service Type: Select the type of ArcGIS service to be forwarded. Currently, it supports ArcGIS feature services, ArcGIS map services, and ArcGIS network analysis services.
  • Service Address: Enter the connection address for the ArcGIS service. Ensure that the address is accessible on the local machine; otherwise, the service cannot be forwarded.
  • Server Type: Select the type of service to be forwarded to SuperMap. The supported service types currently include: REST map service, WFS1.0.0, and WFS2.0.0. For detailed descriptions of service types, refer to Publish Workspace.
  • Allow Editing: Used to control whether the data can be edited. Check this checkbox to allow editing the published data through other clients, such as creating datasets or modifying dataset names.

After executing the forwarding service, the output window will indicate whether the forwarding was successful. If successful, the output window will display the published service address and browsing address. The user can copy the service address and open the iServer REST service in the current workspace as a web-based datasource to view it. Alternatively, click the browsing address to view the service publishing result directly.
