Registration Parameters

Function Description

When a part of Camera Parameters is known, fitting registration can be carried out by inputting the known parameters and the selected control points during Calibration Registration, so as to improve the registration accuracy.

Therefore, before using the Registration Parameters function, it is necessary to select the control points of the video and map through the registration view to provide the Registration Parameters sample. Refer to the Calibration Registration page for a description of the prick points.

Function entrance

  • Video Registration tab-> Calibration Registration group-> Registration Parameters.

Parameter Description

  • X: longitude coordinate of the camera.
  • Y: Latitude coordinate of the camera.
  • Z: absolute or relative altitude of the camera.
  • FovX: Camera horizontal viewing area (angle).
  • FovY: Camera vertical viewing area (angle).
  • Iterations: refers to the number of times of fitting registration. Generally speaking, the more times of fitting, the higher the accuracy. However, when a certain number of times is reached, the accuracy has reached the highest level, and the effect of exceeding iterations will not be obvious. The default is 1000 times.
  • Number of samples: provides the number of samples for fitting registration, and improves the registration accuracy together with Iterations. When the Iterations value is constant, the higher the number of samples, the higher the precision. Similarly, when the highest precision is reached, the effect of more samples will not be obvious. The default value is 200.
  • Height involved in computation: If the height of each registration point has been set and the height is relatively accurate, the registration effect will be better after checking; if the height has not been set or the height is not accurate, it will not be checked.
Caution:
  • X/y/Z indicates the point where the camera is located. If the exact value cannot be determined, the range value can be input; fovX and fovY can generally be known from the camera manual, and if not, they can not be input;
  • Registration Parameters is not a required step of Calibration Registration. If you do not know Camera Parameters at all, you can choose not to Set camera parameters.
