Instructions for use

Support viewing and editing Attributes of selected objects in S-57 Chart Window. Object attribute information includes Object Info, Reference Object, and Nodes:

  • Object Info: Includes Basic Info and Attribute Information.
    • Basic Info: Includes Name, Object Long Name, Record ID, SmID, etc.
    • Attribute Information: includes Property Abbreviation, attribute name and attribute value.
  • Reference Object: boundary information of the selected object, including Object ID, Boundary Direction, Boundary Type, Mask Type, and settings.
  • Nodes: Includes Object Info and Nodes. Object Type and Part Info can be viewed in Object Info. Nodes is the number and coordinate information of Object All Node.

Operation steps

  1. Select Objects in Chart Window, click the right mouse button, and select the Attribute command in the pop-up Context Menu.
  2. The Properties panel pops up on the right, showing the Details of the selected object.
  3. On the upper side of the Attribute panel are the Chart Group and feature Dataset of Select Objects. You can switch the selected object to view the Attributes of the corresponding object. At the same time, Map automatically locates the current object and highlights the object.
  4. For Editable Chart Group, it is supported to edit Attributes corresponding to the object in the Object Info, Reference Object, or Nodes panel. See: Editing Attribute Information .
Hint:

If a chart object and a normal Map are both selected, the Properties command in the Context Menu is still available, and you can view the Object Properties, Spatial Info, and Nodes of the normal Map at the same time.
