Temporal Data is the data representing the status of a certain time point, such as the Land Use status of a certain year or the continuous rainstorm status of a certain cycle.
The SuperMap desktop supports the Temporal Data playback function, which is to play and display the Temporal Data in the map according to a certain time sequence. Through the Temporal Data playback, it is convenient to view the pattern or change trend of the data over time. As shown in the figure below, Figure 1 shows the elements of typhoon track points, and the time field indicates the typhoon observation time. After setting the playback parameters, the playback effect is as shown in Figure 2.

To display Temporal Data in the map, you need to complete the following steps:

- 2: Enable time for data. Step
- 3: Play Temporal Data.
