  • Connection Style: If a certain connection style is set for the child line, Join Type can handle the corner style of the line object's junction when the line object is unsymbolized using the linetype symbol containing the child line. Here, three Join types are provided: Circular Joint, Oblique Angle Joint, and Miter Join.
  • Set sub-line color: When the Fix Color check box is selected, the following color button is available to set the Fix Color of the selected sub-line. When the child line color is fixed, changing the color of the linetype symbol in the Line Symbol Selector has no effect on the child line.
  • Set Line Width of Sub-line: When the Fixed Line Width check box is selected, the following value box is available, and you can set the fixed line width of the selected sub-line. You can either directly enter the value in the value box or click the increase or decrease button on the right to set the value. When a child's lineweight is fixed, modifying the lineweight of a linetype symbol in a Line Symbol Selector is not valid for that child.
  • Set child line offset: Sets the Horizontal offset and Vertical offset of the child line. When setting the value, you can either directly enter the value in the value box, or click the increase or decrease button on the right side to set the value. For Detail Description of child line offsets, see the Child Line Offset section of the 2D linetype symbol composition .
  • Height: When the sub-line is composed of symbol elements, or when the sub-line is composed of short vertical bars, Height is used to set the height of these symbol elements that constitute the sub-line. When setting the value, you can either directly enter the value in the value box, or click the increase or decrease button on the right side to set the value.

  • End Width: When the line type is rotated to Gradient Line, the start width is used to set the width of the end of the line segment. When setting the value, you can either directly enter the value in the value box, or click the increase or decrease button on the right side to set the value.
