Vector Layer Style Settings in 3D Scene: There is a certain relationship between the support of Object Editing and the height mode. Dataset such as CAD, 2D, 3D points, lines and surfaces are opened in the scene, and they are all close to the ground by default. The supported conditions for operations such as Style Settings and Object Drawing of each type of layer in each height mode are as follows:
2D and 3D point layer
After2D or 3D point data is Add to Scene, select the point layer node in Layer Manager, or select the point object in the layer to set the height mode of the layer, which takes effect for the whole layer. There are three height modes supported by the point layer: Ground, Absolute, and Relative to Ground.
Ground mode:
- Support the setting of the point style of the layer and the use of the point symbol template to set the style; Only Point3D drawing is
- supported; Setting Bottom Altitude, Extended Height, and Mapping
- is not supported.
Absolute、Relative to Ground:
- Support the setting of point style and line style, and support the use of point symbol template to set the style. Stretch line style only supports the setting of line color, line transparency and line width. When Extended Height is greater than 0, the setting effect can be seen. Only Point3D drawing is
- supported; Bottom Altitude and Extended Height are
- supported, but mapping is not supported.

After2D or 3D line data is Add to Scene, select the line layer node in Layer Manager, or select the line object in the layer to set the height mode of the layer, which is effective for the whole layer. The line layer supports setting four height modes: Ground, Absolute, Relative to Ground, and Object.
Ground mode:
- Support setting the line style of the layer, and use the line symbol template to set the style. Note: Line transparency does not take effect in ground mode. Only Line3D drawing is
- supported; Setting Bottom Altitude, Extended Height, and Mapping
- is not supported.
Absolute、Relative to Ground:
- Support the setting of the line style of the layer and the use of the line symbol template to set the style;
- Support the setting of Fill Style on the side of line extrusion, including color, transparency and Fill Mode, but do not support the setting of fill symbol and fill template;
- Support setting of Bottom Altitude, Extended Height and Side Texture; Only Line3D drawing is
- supported.

After2D or 3D surface data is Add to Scene, select the surface layer node in Layer Manager, or select the surface object in the layer to set the height mode of the layer, which is effective for the whole layer. There are four height modes supported by the surface layer: Ground, Absolute, Relative to Ground, and Object.
Ground mode:
- Support setting the Fill Style and line style of the layer, and support setting the style by using the line symbol and Fill symbol templates. Note: Line transparency does not take effect in ground mode. Region3D drawing is
- supported, while drawing of other types of objects and Particle Object is not supported;
- Support Region3D node editing; Setting Bottom Altitude, Extended Height, and Mapping
- is not supported.
Absolute、Relative to Ground:
- Support setting the Fill Style and line style of the layer, and support setting the style by using the line symbol and Fill symbol templates; Only Region3D drawing is
- supported, and drawing of other types of objects and Particle Object is not supported; Region3D node editing is
- supported. Note: it is only supported when Extended Height is 0;
- Support for setting Bottom Altitude, Extended Height, and maps.
Paste object:
- Support setting the Fill Style and line style of the layer, and support the Use Template to set the style. After Modify Style, switch to Ground, Absolute or Relative to Ground to see the effect; Drawing Region3D is
- supported, while drawing Particle Object and other objects is not supported;
- Support the node editing of the selected face object;
- Support the setting of Bottom Altitude and Extended Height, but not the setting of mapping;

WithText or Thematic Label MapAdd to Scene, select the layer node in Layer Manager, or select Text in the layer to set the height mode of the layer, which takes effect for the entire layer. The text layer supports three height modes: Ground, Absolute, and Relative to Ground.
Ground mode:
- Set Text Style and Line Style
- are not supported; Setting Bottom Altitude, Extended Height
- is not supported.
Absolute、Relative to Ground:
- Support setting of stretch line style, but do not support using line symbol and template to set style. Stretch line style only supports setting line color, line transparency and line width;
- Support for setting Bottom Altitude, Extended Height, and maps.

Afterthe CAD layer is Add to Scene, set the layer to be editable to set the height mode of the CAD layer, and the set height mode is effective for the whole layer.
Ground Height Mode:
- The Marker Style of the selected 3D point, line and face objects
- can be set, but the point, line and Region Style Settings of Use Template is not supported; Object Drawing is
- supported to draw 2D objects, 3D objects and Particle objects; Surface node editing is
- supported. After 2D and 3D lines and surface objects are selected, node editing can be performed. Setting the style of 2D objects
- is not supported; Setting Bottom Altitude, Extended Height
- is not supported.
Absolute、Relative to Ground:
- The Marker Style of the selected 3D point, line and face objects
- can be set, but the point, line and Region Style Settings of Use Template is not supported; Object Drawing is
- supported to draw 2D objects, 3D objects and Particle objects;
- Support the setting of Bottom Altitude, Extended Height and mapping; Setting maps
- is not supported; When
- Extended Height is 0, 2D, 3D face or line object node editing is supported; when Extended Height is not 0, 2D, 3D face or line object node editing is not supported.
