SuperMap online data includes two types: workspace and datasource. You can upload local data to SuperMap Online or iPortal for other users to download. Click the Online Data node in the Cloud Data panel of Workspace Manager to view online data on the current server.
Online Workspace
Click the Online Data tree node in the Cloud Data panel, then select the Workspace Tab in the right panel to view online workspaces in the server address. These workspaces come from data uploaded during map sharing and user-shared workspace data. Logged-in users can download workspaces for local use.

In Workspace Manager: Right-click the workspace node -> Upload Workspace...
Parameter Description
Set the following parameters in the Upload Workspace panel:
- Current open: Displays the name of the currently open workspace.
- Local Data: Check the local data checkbox to select a locally stored workspace.
- Name: Set the display name after uploading.
- Icon: Click the icon to select an image file (*.png, *.jpg, *.jpeg, *.bmp) in the Open dialog. This image will appear on the details page when accessing SuperMap Online or iPortal.
- Category: Classify shared workspaces for quick searching in online data.
- Label: Enter workspace tags (separated by semicolons) for search purposes.
- Detail Description: Provide a description to help users understand the workspace content.
- Upload address: Select server address from dropdown (SuperMap Online or current iPortal).
- Upload directory: Click the right button to select/create a directory in the Select dialog, which supports catalog management operations.
- Visibility: Set sharing scope - public visibility for SuperMap Online, or group visibility for iPortal.
When uploading workspaces, you can choose to share maps within them. Switch to the Maps Tab and configure:
- Select Map: Check maps from the current workspace to share.
- Icon: Select a representative image (*.png, *.jpg, *.jpeg, *.bmp).
- Category: Classify maps for quick searching.
- Label: Enter map tags (separated by semicolons).
- Detail Description: Describe map content for users.
- Visibility: Configure sharing scope as above.
After configuration, click Share to upload. Monitor progress in the Task Manager panel.
Uploaded data becomes available in Online Data as shown:

Online Datasource
Click the Online Data tree node in the Cloud Data panel, then select the Datasources Tab to view online datasources. These come from map/workspace sharing and user-shared datasources. Logged-in users can download datasources locally.
Upload Datasource

Configure parameters in the Upload Datasource panel:
- Current open: Shows the datasource name to upload.
- Local Data: Check to select local datasource.
- Name: Set display name after upload.
- Icon: Select image file as described above.
- Category: Classify datasources for search.
- Label: Enter tags (semicolon-separated).
- Detail Description: Describe datasource contents.
- Upload address: Select server from dropdown.
- Upload directory: Select/create directory via Select dialog.
- Visibility: Configure sharing scope.
Click Share to upload. Track progress in Task Manager.
Uploaded datasources become available in Online Data for download.
Download Data
In Online Data list, select target workspace/datasource and click Download. Choose save path and click OK. Monitor progress in Task Manager. Downloaded data auto-extracts and can be opened directly in .
