Load the bus data

Instructions for use

When the Public Transport Analysis function is first used in the software, the bus data needs to be loaded before Public Transport AnalysisEnvironment Settings and other operations.

Function entrance

  1. Traffic Analysis tab-> Public Transport Analysis group, select the desired Public Transport Analysis type button, Bus data can be set and loaded in the pop-up "Transfer Analysis Settings" dialog box.
  2. Environment can be toggled on and off from the Environment Settings check box in the Traffic Analysis tab-> Execution group in a Map on which Public Transport Analysis has been loaded Settings panel, set bus data parameters on the Environment Settings panel.

Operation steps

Load data through function entry 1, the parameter information to be set is as follows:

  • Transfer Line Settings: It is used to set the related information of Line data, including Datasource, Dataset, Line ID Field and Line Name Field to which the Line belongs. For a detailed description of Line parameters, see the LineEnvironment Settings page.
  • Station Settings: used to set the relevant information of bus station data, including the Datasource, Dataset, Station ID Field and Station Name Field to which the bus station belongs. For detailed description of bus stop parameters, please refer to the Bus Stop Environment Settings page.
  • Relation Settings: Used to set the station and circuit Relation Dataset. The Dataset must specify the correct relation Dataset between the bus stop and the line, the station ID Field and the line ID Field. Otherwise, the correctness of Check Data and data loading may be affected. Please refer to the Transit Relations Environment Settings page for detailed description of public transit relation parameters.

This method loads only the three required types of data for Public Transport Analysis (transit data, Line, and transit relationships). If you need to set the parameters such as entrance data, Station Snap Tolerance, and walking threshold, you need to set them through the Public Transport AnalysisEnvironment Settings window.

Load data through function entry 2:

The Environment Settings panel provides settings for non-required data in Public Transport Analysis. See the Public Transport AnalysisEnvironment Settings page for more parameters .

This method can only replace the Public Transport Analysis parameter information in the selected Datasource.
