Query Station

Instructions for use

Query Station is to query which stations are on the line by specifying a specific line. Details for these sites are available.

Operation steps

  1. Load bus data: Click the Traffic Analysis tab-> Public Transport Analysis group-> Query Route button to display the Transfer Analysis Settings dialog. Set the data of bus stops and lines, and the relationship data between stops and lines, which are required data for Public Transport Analysis.
  2. Complete the Parameter Settings above and click the OK button. The Environment Settings panel and the Instance Management panel pop up on the right side of the Map. The Temporary Data Source is also generated under the Public Transport AnalysisData source in Workspace Manager.
  3. Environment Settings: The user can set Line parameter, bus stop parameter, bus relation parameter, entrance and exit parameter, walking parameter and Tolerance Settings in the Environment Settings panel. For detailed description of parameters, please refer to the Public Transport AnalysisEnvironment Settings page.
  4. Temporary Data Source: Generates Temporary Data source under Public Transport AnalysisDatasource in Workspace Manager, The Datasource contains two Datasets that store two types of data in the Instance Management window. LineDataset, Pathway Site.
  5. Instance Management: The user specifies a specific route in Map according to the analysis requirements. After clicking the Add by Mouse button on the Instance Management panel, click any point on the specified Line in the previous Map to select the line as the specified query line. The selected line is highlighted in the Map.
  6. Once added, the line is automatically added to the Line information directory tree in the Instance Management window.
  7. Click the Execute button in the Execute group on the Traffic Analysis tab or click the Execute button on the Instance Management panel to execute the Query Station operation according to the set parameters.

Click a specific site, and the site will be automatically located and highlighted in the map.
