Calculate Total Area
Function Description
Calculate Total Area is used to calculate the area of the vector Region Dataset. Support the setting of calculation units, and provide more than ten units such as km2, square meters, hectares, hectares, hectares, acres, ft2 and acres for users to convert and select.
Function entrance
- Data tab-> Data Processing-> Vector-> Calculate Total Area.
- Toolbox-> Data Processing-> Vector-> Calculate Total Area.
Parameter Description
- Source Data: Select Datasource and the Dataset to be calculated.
- Filter Expression: Set Filter Expression to calculate the area of the object satisfying the Filter Expression.
- Result: used to display the result of Compute Area.
- Unit: the default unit of Compute Area is Square meter. You can click the Drop-down Button on the right to switch to other calculation units.
Hint: The Calculate Total Area dialog box is a modeless dialog box. Users can perform other interactive operations such as Open Data Set and Select Object after opening the dialog box.
