Move
Feature Description
In the topology editing state, it supports moving topological edges and nodes. The shared objects connected to the topological edge or node will be stretched to maintain topological continuity during the move. If the shared objects connected to the selected topological edge or node belong to multiple layers, all these layers will be edited simultaneously.
Procedure
- Enable the editing state for the relevant layers in the Layer Manager. Then, in the Edit Data tab -> Object Edit group -> Topology editing drop-down menu, turn on Topology edit switches to enable topology editing. Once enabled, the topology graph will be overlaid on the map.
- You can now directly left-click on the map to select the topological edge or node you wish to move. A color change to dark blue indicates the selection. You can hold the Shift or Ctrl key for multiple selections.
- Hold down the left mouse button and drag. During the move, the map will display an elastic line previewing the new position and show the stretching effect of shared objects in real time. When moving a topological edge, the shape and orientation of the selected edge will be maintained while its connected shared objects are stretched. If you do not want the shared objects connected to the topological edge or node to be edited, you can uncheck them in the Shared object panel.
- After moving to the desired location, release the left mouse button to preview the result. Click the left mouse button again to complete the move operation.

Note:- Supports setting the topology edit tolerance. The tolerance refers to the distance between object nodes within which edges and nodes are considered coincident and share the same location.
- By default, the system automatically calculates the minimum tolerance value based on the data. It is generally recommended to use the default value.
- If modification is needed, click the Tolerance Settings button. You can manually modify the value in the popped-up Topology edit tolerance dialog box. After modification, you can click the Reset button behind the input box to revert to the default value.
