Template manager

Instructions for use

The template manager is used to manage templates imported from local sources. The imported templates can be directly selected and used when utilizing the Select Template feature.

Function Entries

  • Map tab->Template editing group->Template editing dropdown->Template Manager.
  • Features tab->Objects group->Template editing dropdown->Template Manager.

Operating Steps

  1. Open the Template Manager dialog box through any of the above function entries.
  2. The dialog list displays the templates existing in the current workspace.
    • Name: Double-click the cell in the name column to modify the template.
    • Description: Double-click the cell in the description column to enter the template description, such as the template purpose or applicable regions.
    • File Path: Displays the path of the imported template in the local file. If the template path changes, manual modification of the path information is supported.
  3. The toolbar above the list provides Modify, Delete, Import, and Export tools:
    • Modify Template: Select a template in the list, then click the Modify Template button. A management dialog for the selected template will pop up. For details on this dialog, refer to the Management Template document.
    • Delete: Select a template in the list, then click the Delete button to remove this template from the workspace.
    • Import: Click the Import button to pop up the Import Template dialog. Select a *.xmltemplate file from local, then click Open to import the local template for use.
    • Export: Select the template to export in the list, then click the Export button. In the popped-up Export Template dialog, set the save path and name, then click the Save button to export the template as a *.xml file.
Note:

If the local path of the imported template file is changed, the file becomes unavailable.
