Template Manager

Feature Description

Template Manager is used to manage templates imported from the local system. Imported templates can be directly selected and used when using the Select Template function.

Function Entry

  • Map tab -> Template Editing group -> Template Editing drop-down item -> Template Manager.
  • Edit Data tab -> Basic Editing group -> Template Editing drop-down item -> Template Manager.

Operation Steps

  1. Open the Template Manager dialog box through any of the above function entries.
  2. The dialog box list displays the templates existing in the current workspace.
    • Name: Double-click the cell in the Name column to modify the template.
    • Descriptions: Double-click the cell in the Description column to input the template's description, such as the template's purpose, applicable area, etc.
    • File Path: Displays the path of the imported template in the local file. If the template path changes, it supports manually modifying the path information.
  3. The toolbar above the list provides the Modify, Delete, Import, and Export tools:
    • Modify Template: Select a template in the list, then click the Modify Template button. The management dialog box for the selected template will pop up. For details of this dialog box, see the Management Template document.
    • Delete: Select a template in the list, then click the Delete button to remove the template from the workspace.
    • Import: Click the Import button. The Import Template dialog box appears. Select a *.xmltemplate file from the local system, then click Open to import the local template for use.
    • Export: Select the template to be exported in the list, then click the Export button. In the Export Template dialog box that appears, set the save path and name, then click the Save button to export the template as a *.xml file.
Notes:

If the local path of the imported template file changes, the file will be unavailable.
