  2. Layer: The layer list displays all layers contained in the template. Click again to select a template, and the categories contained in that layer will be displayed in the list on the right. To delete a layer, right-click to select it, and click Delete in the context menu.
  3. Add button: Used to add categories to the selected layer. Click the Add button, and the Template Properties dialog will appear. After setting the relevant information, click the OK button to add a category to the current layer.
  4. Delete button: Select one or more records in the right-hand list, and click the Delete button to delete the selected records.
  5. Copy button: Select a record in the right-hand list, and click the Copy button to copy a category.

  8. Name/Label: Double-click a cell to enter edit mode, then input the desired content. Supports using Chinese or English semicolons ";" to separate multiple tags.
  9. Properties button: Click the button in the Properties column cell of the list to pop up the corresponding category's Properties dialog, where you can view and modify the name, labels, attribute styles, and other information for this category.
    • Name: Displays the name of the category. You can also modify the name here.
    • Label: Enter relevant labels for the category. Labels (usually short keywords or any other words that can identify the template) can be used to retrieve categories. Supports using Chinese or English semicolons ";" to separate multiple tags.
    • Marker Style: Used to set the marker style for this category. Click the Set button to pop up the corresponding selector to set the marker style. If the selected category is in a normal layer, setting the marker style is not supported.
    • Attributes: Used to set attributes for this category. After setting, the properties of newly drawn objects will automatically inherit the content configured here. If the selected category is in a unique value thematic map, the single value expression field in attributes will be automatically populated.
Notes:

When adding a new category to a unique value thematic map layer, the unique value thematic map field in attributes is a required field during attribute setup; otherwise, the creation cannot be completed.
