Ascending
Function Description
Ascending is used to sort the attribute table in ascending order based on the selected field. The Ascending button is only available when there are selected cells in the current attribute table.
In the opened attribute table, click the field header of the column you want to sort to select the entire column, then click the Ascending button to arrange the records in the attribute table according to the ascending sequence of values in the selected field.
If multiple attribute columns are selected simultaneously (configured with the Ctrl or Shift key), the system will default to sorting in ascending order based on the attribute values of the leftmost field among the selected fields.
Function Entry
- Table Tab -> Browse Group Dropdown -> Ascending.
Operation Instructions
- Select the attribute column field you need to sort in ascending order.
- Click the Ascending button in the Browse group of the attribute table tab to perform the ascending sort operation.
Descending
Function Description
Descending is used to sort the attribute table in descending order based on the selected field. The Descending button is only available when there are selected cells in the current attribute table.
In the opened attribute table, click the field header of the column you want to sort to select the entire column, then click the Descending button to arrange the records in the attribute table according to the descending sequence of values in the selected field.
If multiple attribute columns are selected simultaneously (configured with the Ctrl or Shift key), the system will default to sorting in descending order based on the attribute values of the leftmost field among the selected fields.
