Hide Columns/Unhide Columns
Hidden Column
Function Description
The Hidden Column feature is used to hide selected fields.
Function Entry
- Context menu of the Table window -> Hidden Column button.
Operation Instructions
- In the opened attribute table, select one or more columns to be hidden by clicking on the corresponding field, or by using the Shift or Ctrl key to click on multiple fields, to select the entire column of data for the respective fields.
- Right-click and select the Hidden Column option from the context menu.
- The selected columns will be hidden in the table view. Meanwhile, the first column to the left of the hidden columns will be entirely selected, and a hidden column indicator will appear to the right of that column's field.

Notes:- The Hidden Column button is only available when there are selected rows in the current attribute table.
- The hide column operation does not delete the hidden attribute columns; it only makes certain columns temporarily invisible. You can use the Show Hidden Column option to display the hidden attribute columns.
- After closing and reopening the attribute table, any previous hide row or hide column operations will not be retained; all rows and column information in the attribute table will be displayed.
Unhide Columns
Function Description
The Unhide Columns feature is used to display all hidden columns in the attribute table. The Unhide Columns button is only available when there are selected columns in the current attribute table.
Function Entry
- Context menu of the Table window -> Unhide Columns button.
Operation Instructions
- Right-click in the attribute table and select the Unhide Columns option to show all hidden columns.
Tip:- If no columns are selectable in the current attribute table, it means all attribute columns are hidden. Clicking the Unhide Columns button will then show all hidden columns.
- After the hidden columns corresponding to the hidden column indicator are displayed, the hidden indicator disappears.
