The data required for mapping in this application example all comes from the data in SampleData\WebMap\China100 within the sample data. The sample data package needs to be installed separately. For details, please refer to: Obtain the Sample Data Package.

Operation Steps

1. Start the application.
2. Click the workspace node, select Open File Workspace from the pop-up context menu, navigate to the folder where the sample data is located, select China100.smwu, and open this data.
3. Click the China100 data source node, expand the datasets under the current data source collection node, and add the three datasets: MainRiver_L, Provinces_R, Border_L to a map.

   For a detailed description of each added dataset, see the table below:

   Dataset Name	Description	Detailed Explanation
   MainRiver_L	Main river data	Create a uniform style label map and label its NAME field.
   Provinces_R	Provincial areas	Used to configure the geographic base map as a polygon layer.
   Border_L	National boundaries	Configure the geographic base map as a line layer.
