Instructions for use

ShapeFile files (*.shp) are a commonly used vector data format in the GIS field, containing spatial geometric data and attributes. They support batch migration of ShapeFile files (*.shp) to SuperMap datasources, achieving efficient migration of SHP data for further data management, visualization analysis, and other operations.

Function Entry

  • Data Migration tab ->ArcGISData Migration->SHP Import.

Parameter description

  • File Path: The folder where the SHP file is located.
  • Datasource: The storage location for the data after import, supporting import to existing or new file-based or database datasources.
  • License Verification: Select the type of ArcMap. Default indicates the non-official license type of ArcMap. Provides a Check button to view if there is corresponding ArcGIS license information on the current machine.
  • Charset: The default option is Auto-Read. The system will automatically read the charset associated with the data. If needed, you can select other Charset types from the dropdown.
  • Check data before executing the operation: Supports checking the migration data before data migration. After checking, a result info list will be output. Users can view errors in detail and handle problematic data based on the provided solutions.
  • Select Data: Check this option to select the data to be migrated in the pop-up select data dialog. If not checked, all data in the import folder will be imported.
