Feature Description
MAP Migration can migrate map documents in MapGIS to the SuperMap workspace, including *.mpj project files and *.mapx map documents.
Function Entry
- Data Migration tab ->MapGIS Data Migration group ->MAP Migration.
Operation Steps
- Click the MAP Migration button to open the MAP Migration dialog box.
- Select File is used to migrate a single file. Click the folder button to select a single MAP file, which can be in *.mpj or *.mapx format.
- Select Folder is used to migrate multiple files in batches. Click the folder button to select a folder that contains multiple MapGIS projects.
Note:When using Select Folder, the program will automatically traverse the selected folder to find the corresponding symbol library files. If the symbol library files are not in the same folder as the *.mpj project files, the folder containing the symbol library must have the same name as the folder containing the *.mpj project files for correct matching. Therefore, it is recommended to place the Slib symbol library in the same folder as the *.mpj project files.
- When using Select File, the Use specified symbol library and Use specified font library check boxes will be automatically selected. You can specify the system library path file, and the result data will be rendered using the symbol style of the specified system library.
- Migrating invisible layers: Sets whether to migrate invisible layers during migration, which is checked by default. If checked, invisible layers are migrated along with visible layers; if unchecked, invisible layers are automatically filtered out during migration, and only visible layers are migrated.
- In the result path, set the storage path for the migration result file, and in the file name, set the name of the migration result file.
- After completing the above settings, click the OK button to start the migration. After migration, the generated layer names will automatically remain consistent with the original MapGIS layer names.
