Function Description
The Camera Parameters file is a non-plaintext file (*.txt) generated during the flight of the UAV, which contains the Position Info and attitude information of the camera. For Video Registration, the Camera Parameters file needs to be converted to.csv format through a foreign website before it can be used. Refer to the Camera Parameter Registration Instance for details on the conversion of the.CSV format.
Function entrance
- Video Registration tab-> Camera Parameter Conversion group-> Import Camera Parameters
- Datasource-> Create Dataset-> Video-> Add Local Video
Operating instructions
- Click the Video Registration tab-> Camera Parameter Conversion group-> Import Camera Parameters button to bring up the Import Camera Parameters dialog. Select Parameter File from the Camera Parameters file in the dialog box, and the system will assign the corresponding fields in the file to the corresponding parameters according to the File Info, as shown in the following figure. Click OK to complete Video Registration.
- Or right-click the Datasource, choose Create Dataset-> Video, pop up the Add Video dialog, click the Add Local Video button, select a video, The software will select the Camera Parameters file with the same name in the same folder of the video by default. At the same time, the system will assign the corresponding field in the file to the corresponding parameter according to File Info, as shown in the following figure. Then click OK to complete the registration while creating a new Video Dataset.
The Camera Parameters are described as follows:
-
Sampling Time/CSV Timestamp: Set to the timestamp field of the video.
-
Camera Location Information: includes the longitude, latitude, altitude, and altitude calibration of the camera. The altitude calibration is the altitude difference between the UAV take-off point and the video Centre Point. If the take-off point is higher than image main point, it is a positive value, and if it is lower than image main point, it is a negative value.
-
Camera Information: including the yaw angle, pitch angle and sideslip angle of the camera.
-
Camera Intrinsic Parameters: Set the field angle according to the UAV model.
