Add Information Board

Information boards can display the specified property information of real-time streaming data dynamically on the dashboard in the format of table.

The following content introduces the way of adding an information board and related properties.

  1. Add information boards: in Ribbon, click Dash Board tab > Information Board to add an information board in the default size to the dashboard.
  2. Position: the position and size of an information board are adjustable. For specific parameter description, please refer to Common Parameters.
  3. Border: you can set the border color and effects of an information board. For specific parameter description, please refer to Public Parameters.
  4. Data: specify your real-time streaming data from the Real-time Stream Data text box to display its properties.
  5. Field: check the fields that you want to display in the Field list. The field name will be taken as the column name on the information board. You can adjust the order of the fields displayed on the information board with Top, Up, Down, and Bottom buttons.
  6. Sort by: set a field to sort each column on the information board by the values of the field. The specified field should be numeric.
  7. Sort Mode: specify the ways of sorting columns on the dashboard including High to Low and Low to High.
  8. Row Counts: set the number of rows visible on the information board.
  9. Display Header: check the box to display the name of each column in the information board.
  10. Properties: you can set the display styles of text on the information board.
    • Font: select the font of text from the drop-down list. The feature allows you to select the recently-used font and quickly position the font you want by pressing its first letter.
    • Font Size: set the font size of the text in each label in the label thematic map. You can either enter the font size directly or select an item from the drop-down list. You can specify a field with its values as the font size. The numerical precision is 0.5.
    • Text Style: set the font-display styles. The application provides three styles including Ordinary, Bold, and Italic.
    • Text Color: click the color control and select a color. White is by default.
    • Back Color: set the background color of the information panel. You can check the check box Transparency to set the background transparent.
    • Odd Row Background Color: check the box to set the background color of every odd row.
    • Even Row Background Color: check the box to set the background color of every even row.
