Edit Node

Feature Description

Edit Node provides the ability to add, delete, and move nodes, modifying the geometry info of existing spatial objects.

Available only when line or polygon objects are selected in editable layers.

Supported since SuperMap ImageX Pro 11i(2023) version.

Feature Entry

Image Mosaic Tab -> Feature Editing Group -> Edit Node.

Steps

  1. In Layer Manager, set the target line or polygon layer to Editable state.
  2. Select a line or polygon object to edit in the map.
  3. Click Image Mosaic Tab -> Feature Editing Group -> Edit Node button. All nodes of the selected geometry will be displayed.
  4. Modify geometry nodes through:
    • Add Node: Click the left mouse button on the target geometry to add a node.
    • Move Node: Select a node on the geometry, press and hold the left mouse button to drag and reposition it.
    • Delete Node: Select one or multiple nodes (using Shift/Ctrl keys for multi-selection), then double-click the left mouse button or press Delete key to remove selected nodes.
  5. After editing current object, directly select other geometries and repeat step 4 for node modifications.
  6. Repeat steps 4-5 until completing all object edits. Click Image Mosaic Tab -> Feature Editing Group -> Edit Node button or right-click the map to exit editing mode.
