Draw Line to Modify Border
Instructions for Use
The Draw Line to Modify Border function allows you to adjust the boundary of a selected polygon object based on a newly drawn line.
It is only available when a polygon object is selected in an editable layer. The newly drawn line must intersect with the boundary of the polygon to be modified at two or more points.
Function Entry
- Features Tab -> Feature Editing Group -> Draw Line to Modify Border.
- Image Mosaic Tab -> Feature Editing Group -> Draw Line to Modify Border.
Operation Steps
- In the Layer Manager, set the polygon layer containing the object to be modified to Editable state.
- Select a polygon object to edit in the map.
- Click the Image Mosaic Tab -> Feature Editing Group -> Draw Line to Modify Border button.
- Move the mouse to the map and draw a line object that has at least two intersection points with the polygon object. Right-click to finish drawing and complete the border modification. As shown below:
