Urban fine model data beautification
This page provides beautification methods for fine model data of cities produced by software such as 3ds Max. The main beautification effects include: glass reflection effect of buildings during the day and self-luminous effect of windows at night.
In order to achieve the above beautification effect, the following steps are required:
- Model data conversion : The conversion tools provided by SuperMap convert city fine model data into model datasets stored in UDBX/UDB.
- Mask texture making : Make window mask texture through SuperMap iDesktopX.
- S3M tile generation : Add mask textures to the model dataset via SuperMap iDesktopX and generate S3M tile data.
- Beautification settings : Modify the material function in Unreal Engine to achieve window reflection during the day and self-illumination at night.
