A 3D custom thematic map is created by defining custom attribute fields. According to the values of numeric fields, the corresponding style setting table is used to set the display style, allowing for more flexible expression of data information. 3D custom thematic maps are suitable for situations where users want to express rich content and have complex attribute classification structures. The "Scene" tab, in the "Data" group, the "Thematic Map" button pops up the "Create Thematic Map" interface, and the right-click menu of the specified layer in the "Layer Manager" includes "Create Thematic Map...", which organizes the function of creating 3D custom thematic maps for 3D layers of vector dataset types in the scene.

Note: The application does not support creating custom thematic maps for 3D layers of text vector dataset types.

There are three ways to create a 3D custom thematic map:

• Create a New 3D Custom Thematic Map
• Create a 3D Custom Thematic Map Based on a Template
• Modify a 3D Custom Thematic Map

Notes:

When creating a custom thematic map based on the Symbol Resources in the Symbol Library within the Workspace Manager, you need to first set the layer style for the specified layer, and then proceed with the custom thematic map creation operation.
