View and modify the properties of an object

Instructions for use

The Properties command for the Context Menu of objects in the scene, which opens the Properties window, displays, and modifies the Attributes of Select Objects.

Function entrance

  • Scene Window-> Select ObjectsCont ext Menu -> Properties Button

Operation steps

  1. In Layer Manager, set the Layer of Object to be selected as selectable, and then move the mouse to the Scene to select the specified object.
  2. After selection, click the right mouse button in Scene, and select the attribute button in the pop-up Context Menu to pop up the "Attribute" panel.
  3. The panel shows the detailed Attributes for Select Objects. Depending on the Select Object, the information displayed in the Properties window is different, mainly including:
      Attributes of
    • Vector/Model Object
      • When Selected Objects is loaded to Vector Data (2D/3D point, line, and surface), The Vector object properties panel displays information such as Object Properties, Spatial Info, and Nodes.
      • When Selected Objects come from a Model Dataest, Information such as Object Properties, Spatial Info, and Nodes displayed on the Model Object property panel.
    • Object Properties information in
    • point/line/region/Model Tiles layer
      • When Select Objects comes from the point/line/region/model S3MTile Layer, the Properties Panel displays the General Properties information of the objects, such as SmUserID, etc.
    • Properties of
    • the KML object

      When Selected Objects is an object in a KML layer, The KML Object Properties panel can view or set the Object Info and Object Style of Select Objects.

Caution:
    When selecting objects in the
  • layer, you need to switch the Operation Status of the Scene to the selection status first, and then directly click the mouse to select the specific object in the Scene.
  • When selecting objects in the KML layer (except for the Surface Mapping object in the KML layer), you can also click the node corresponding to Select Objects in the Layer Manager.
