Simulation Area Settings
Instructions
After creating or opening a flood simulation data source, use the simulation area settings function to draw the effective area for flood simulation analysis.
Function Entry
- Flood Simulation tab ->Configure Simulation Layer group ->Simulation Area Settings button
Operation Steps
- Click the Flood Simulation tab ->Configure Simulation Layer group ->Simulation Area Settings button.
- Move the mouse to the specified position in the scene, click the left button to start drawing the flood simulation analysis area; then move the mouse and click the left button in turn to determine the area boundaries, and finally click the right button to complete the drawing.
- After drawing, the system automatically saves the area to the "Study Area" polygon dataset and loads and displays it in the current scene.
- If there is an existing 3D polygon dataset representing the study area (coordinate system is EPSG:4490), you can directly open that dataset in the workspace and skip the above drawing steps.
Notice:- The simulation area is used to define the extent of the flood simulation analysis. It is recommended to draw a closed area.
- When using an existing 3D polygon dataset as the study area, ensure that the dataset uses the EPSG:4490 coordinate system.
