Usage Instructions

After creating or opening the flood simulation layer data source, use the simulation area settings function to draw the area for flood simulation analysis.

Function Entry

• Flood Simulation tab->Configure Simulation Layer group->Simulation Area Settings button

Operation Steps

1. Click the Flood Simulation tab->Configure Simulation Layer group->Simulation Area Settings button.
2. Move the mouse to the specified position in the scene, click the left button to start drawing the flood simulation analysis area; then move the mouse and click the left button successively to determine the area boundary, and finally click the right button to complete the drawing.
3. After drawing, the system automatically saves the area to the "Research Area Surface Dataset" and loads and displays it in the current scene.
4. If there is already a 3D surface dataset representing the research area (coordinate system is EPSG:4490), you can directly open this dataset in the workspace and skip the above drawing steps.
