Divide Computational Units
Usage Instructions
After creating or opening the flood simulation layer data source, and drawing or opening the simulation area, by using the divide computational units function, the flood simulation analysis area is divided based on the specified cell size, and data such as nodes, edges, and units are calculated.
Function Entry
- Flood Simulation tab->Configure Simulation Layer group->Divide Computational Units button
Operation Steps
- Click the Flood Simulation tab->Configure Simulation Layer group->Divide Computational Units button to pop up the "Divide Computational Units" dialog.
- Raster Data Settings (Required): Select the target terrain data from the raster datasets that are open in the workspace.
- Model Data Settings (Optional): Select the required model dataset from the open data sources.
- Clip Data Settings (Optional): Select a 3D polygon dataset (EPSG:4490) to specify the study area.
- Cell Size Settings: Set the cell size for the analysis area in meters.
- After the settings are completed, click the OK button to execute the division of computational units. Upon completion, the results are saved to the node/edge/unit datasets in the target data source. If clip data is set, the selected 3D polygon dataset will be written to the study area dataset.
