Modifying the Unique-values Map
Instructions for use
The user can modify the Parameter Settings of Unique-values Map in the "Unique-values Map" window to achieve a thematic map effect more in line with the requirements.
Operation steps
- Select a Unique-values Map layer in Layer Manager, and right-click the Modify Thematic Map "command. The setting information of the currently selected Unique-values Map is displayed in the "Unique-values Map" window.
- Different types of Vector Layers have slightly different settings when making a Unique-values Map. Users need to set it according to the actual use. Two tabs appear in
the Unique-values Map Window, the Properties and Advanced tabs, and Default Display "the contents of the Properties tab page. You can set the properties and advanced Display Parameters of the current Unique-values Map in the Properties and Advanced tabs. The details are as follows:
Each Parameter Settings - in the "Unique-values Map" window will be reflected to the corresponding thematic map layer in the current Map in real time, that is, WYSIWYG. You can also disable Enable Real-time Refresh by unchecking the Enable Instant Refresh "checkbox at the bottom of the dialog box. If the "Enable Instant Refresh" "check box is not checked, the user can click the" Apply "button at the bottom of the dialog box to apply the Parameter Settings in the dialog box to the current thematic map after completing the Parameter Settings.
Remark
- The Unique-values Map made and modified by the user can be saved as a template so as to be applied to the thematic map making of other layers. For details of Save as thematic map template, please refer to Save to Thematic Map Template Library .
- When Using the template Create Thematic Map of the Save to Template Library, the user needs to open the Create Thematic Map "dialog box first, and select a saved template from the template library of the corresponding Themtic Type. It is applied to the thematic map of other similar Dataset.
