"Style" Tab

"Style" Tab: Used to set the uniform font style applied to the label objects (text) in the current uniform label thematic map. Specifically, the uniform style supports setting the label's font type, size, rotation angle, and font color by selecting a property field, enabling custom label settings to meet various label display requirements.

  • Select a Text Template...: Used to apply an existing text template to the text of the current label thematic map. Click this button, select a text template in the Select Style Template window that pops up, and click OK to apply it. After application, you can continue to modify the font, font size, color, and font effects.
  • Font: Used to set the font used for the label text in the label thematic map. The combo box drop-down list on the right side of this control provides a rich set of fonts for users to select. It supports adding "@" before the font name in the combo box to achieve vertical display effects. It also provides a "Recent Font" group for convenient selection of recently used font names. The system supports quick keyboard positioning of fonts by the first letter. For example, clicking the letter "T" on the keyboard will display fonts starting with the letter "T" in the drop-down list. Click the combo box drop-down list on the right side of this control and select a font. The default font is Microsoft YaHei.

When the Start Expression checkbox is checked, the font will be set by selecting a property field, and the font will be displayed according to the set property value, achieving different custom label font effects within the same thematic map. The combo box drop-down list on the right side of this control lists 12 alignment options, with the default alignment being Left Top. For detailed instructions on alignment, refer to Text Alignment Description.
    Note:

If "Center Point" is selected for alignment and the text in the thematic map is not displayed at the center of the point, it is because the map display has the show/hide points with text option enabled by default. To display the text at the center of the point, uncheck the Show/Hide Points with Text setting under the overlap settings in the map properties panel.
