Set Geometry Object Properties
After drawing the geometry, you can modify the style and geometry of the drawn object.
Object Style
SuperMap iDesktopX provides two ways to set the layout object style: the Object Style tab and the Styles tab in the Layout Object Properties panel.
- The Styles tab is a context tab bound to the layout. It only appears on the ribbon when the currently active window in the application is a layout. When the functional controls in the tab set the styles of various geometries, text, and maps in the layout, the results are reflected in real-time in the current layout, achieving a WYSIWYG effect.
- Layout Object Properties panel: In the layout, select the point, line, or polygon objects to be modified, right-click and choose the Properties button to pop up the Layout Object Properties panel. In the Object Style tab, set the point, line, and polygon object styles in a WYSIWYG manner.
The setting of point, line, and polygon object styles in the layout is consistent with that in the map. For detailed instructions, refer to the following documents: Set Point Object Style, Set Line Object Style, Set Polygon Object Style.
Geometry
In the Geometry tab of the Layout Object Properties window, you can view and modify the selected object's width, height, and upper-left coordinates. For details, refer to the Layout Object Geometry document.
