Editing Attribute Table
By using the Workspace Manager->vector dataset/pure tabular dataset context menu->Browse Attribute Table function to open the tabular, you can then open the tabular for editing.
Basic Cell Editing:
- Modify: After clicking to select a cell, you can directly input data: the new content will replace the original value of the cell. If multiple cells are selected simultaneously, the directly input data will only replace the value of the top-left cell in the selected area.
- Delete: After selecting one or multiple cells, press the Delete key to clear the content of the selected cells.
Advanced and Batch Editing:
In the Edit tab of the tabular, more editing tools for vector dataset attribute tables or pure tabular datasets are organized, supporting overall and batch updates of row and column data. Here, Attribute Structure refers to the select fields of the attribute table. For detailed editing instructions, please refer to the attribute structure content on the document page of the vector dataset attribute window.
This chapter will introduce the following content:
- Compute Geometric Properties: Introduces how to add the spatial or geometric attributes of vector objects as new property fields.
- Reclassify Field: Introduces how to reclassify based on specified field values, assigning them to new fields or updating existing fields.
- Update Column: Introduces how to uniformly modify the field values of multiple or all records in the current attribute table according to certain conditions or rules.
- Delete Rows/Add Rows: Introduces how to delete or add records to the attribute table.
- Undo/Redo: Introduces how to undo or redo editing operations.
- Attribute Table Copy and Paste: Introduces how to copy or paste property records of multiple cells or entire rows and columns in the attribute table.
- Attribute Table Drag-and-Drop Assignment: Introduces how to quickly assign the value of source cells to target cells through mouse drag-and-drop.
- Binary Field Editing: Introduces how to edit binary fields.
